Whether or not you have installed a popup blocker on your machine, if you have Windows XP you have a blocker.

Google Toolbar

• Go to the http://blackboard.jmu.edu website
• Once the login page appears, click the "# # # Blocked" button
• Login
• Verify that the "# # # Blocked" Button says site pop-ups allowed

Yahoo Toolbar

• Go to the http://blackboard.jmu.edu website
• Go to a quiz that is deployed in an external window
• Click on the Popup Icon next to the "Search Web" Button
• Click "Always allow pop-ups from .."
• Find blackboard.jmu.edu
• Select allow

Windows XP Operating System

• Under the "Tools" menu select "Pop-up Blocker"
• Select "Pop-up Blocker Settings"
• Enter blackboard.jmu.edu into the address bar and push the "Add" button

Firefox Browser

• Under the "Tools" menu select "Options"
• Click the tab for "Web Features"
• Click "Allowed Sites"
• Enter blackboard.jmu.edu and press "Allow"
