The Email function in Blackboard Course Announcements is now working. Blackboard recently issued a patch which fixed this problem. It is now possible to send emails with course and organization announcements.

Combine course sections into one Blackboard course.
- Dec 22, 2009JMU instructors have the option of combining a number of sections into one Blackboard course. CIT staff is happy to perform this service for you.
- Instructors can make a request through http://support.blackboard.jmu.edu/blackboard_requests/
- Please do not add data and information to any of the courses you wish to have combined, before the courses are actually combined. Course combinations only work with new courses that have no data or changes.
- Our experience has been that combined courses with more than 150 students can be problematic, especially when on line tests are part of the course design.
- Please include course id's in your combination request. Course ID's look like this: ENG299_1_SP10
